What exactly is Airene and what can I use it for?
Airene is a compact AI appliance (hardware + software) that runs as an on-premise enterprise AI system directly in your environment. It lets you use modern AI capabilities such as text generation, document analysis and translation without any sensitive data leaving your organisation. As a local large language model, Airene can be flexibly adapted to your requirements.
Do I need special IT expertise to use it?
No. Airene is designed as a plug-and-play solution. You connect the appliance to your network and use the AI features via an intuitive dashboard with user management and AI personas. Our team supports you during setup.
How quickly is Airene ready for use?
Thanks to the plug-and-play concept, Airene can be set up within a few hours. The appliance is delivered with pre-installed software and can be integrated directly into your IT infrastructure so you can benefit from its AI capabilities quickly.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. Because Airene runs on-site as an offline LLM, performance depends on your internal network, not on your internet connection. You only need internet access for optional software updates. Alternatively, we offer secure offline update options.
How is Airene different from cloud-based AI offerings?
The key difference is full data sovereignty. As an air-gapped AI system, Airene runs locally in your organisation and all data remains within your internal network. No sensitive information is transmitted to external providers. This ensures GDPR compliance and full control over your data.
Is my data really secure with local processing?
Yes. That is precisely the advantage of an on-premise generative AI solution. Airene operates entirely within your organisation, your data stays on your own hardware and is not sent to external servers. This helps you meet strict data-protection requirements.
What prerequisites are required?
Airene is delivered as a turnkey package, including optimised hardware and pre-installed AI software. You only need a network connection and power supply. For integration into existing systems (for example Active Directory), we are happy to advise and support you.
Can we connect our own data?
Yes. Airene supports ingesting your own documents via the central chat interface with document uploads. Processing takes place exclusively on-premise as a private language model, so no data is exposed externally. Depending on the edition, additional modules can be added.
Do I have to provide additional training for my employees?
In most cases, a short introduction is sufficient, as Airene’s interface is very user-friendly. If required, we also offer targeted trainings and workshops so your team can make full use of Airene’s capabilities.
Is a trial version available?
